​A.L. Cooper is a self-taught local Atlanta artist. In 2011 she was inspired to create The Modern Heart Collction after pondering on how love might look in physical form. As she pondered, A.L. realized that love had evolved and the perfect red shaped heart that we all associate with love had changed. She saw people experiencing a love that captures your heart like a beast and loves you in its own way. Out of her thoughts came "Love Is A Beast, The Modern Heart Collection."Each one of a kind eclectic shaped heart is created using mixed media techniques. Each piece consist of various mediums such as acrylic paint, oil paint, charcoal, spray paint, pencil and other unique materials on a handcrafted raw wood box or stretched canvas .
